Thank You, Sacramento!
Together, we will outlast COVID-19.
A brief message from Aziz Bellarbi-Salah
It was 26 years ago this August that my father, Reda Bellarbi, realized his dream as a restaurateur and opened our flagship, Aïoli Bodega Española. At that time, Midtown Sacramento didn't have much going on after dark. However, with his passion for bringing exciting flavors to the public and his insistence on delivering superior quality products, the community responded and Aïoli became a Midtown destination. Thank you.
And, now, as we are experiencing collective sacrifice, we must all come together and become a part of a communal response. That's why, for the duration of this crisis, we have converted our restaurant into a fully functioning Bodega!
We now offer a variety of select produce, meats, paper products, hot food to go and deli sandwiches. We also have an on-site barista and we are have opened our cellar of premium wines, beers, and spirits. In order to carry on, we have gone lean. But, there has been a heavy cost in doing so.
Sadly, we have had to furlough over forty employees as a result of this terrible situation. That means that many in our family of three restaurants are without work. We will not let them go hungry, but we also know that they must meet needs outside of the kitchen. To see our current offerings, please visit our temporary website www.aiolilabodega.com.
That's why we are asking, again, for your generosity. If you can make a donation, of any amount you are comfortable with, it would be greatly appreciated.
And, in gratitude for your support, our staff has agreed to donate 15% of all money raised to help the homeless population in our city.
Thank you, Sacramento.
All donations are securely processed using Heartland Online Payments.
